Hillsview Pastoral Charge is located in the Swan Valley in Manitoba. Our Pastoral Charge joined in 1955 and was named the Birch River - Bowsman - Minitonas Pastoral Charge. In 2001 the Official Board changed the Pastoral Charge's name to the Hillsview Pastoral Charge.

The name is appropriate as anywhere one is in the Pastoral Charge the hills of the Porcupine Mountain Range or Duck Mountain Range can be viewed. As well, the Biblical reference to God's presence being experienced on the mountains. Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration all have significance to us. This seemed to give us a new identity and an identity that we seem to own.
